The St Georgians (formerly known as The Old Girls Union) was formed in 1929, with a twofold purpose – keeping former students in touch, and raising funds for the school. Currently there are just over 600 members. The cost of Life Membership is a one off payment of $25.00. To join, please download the membership Form. A number of year groups have a Year Coordinator who endeavour to bring together the students from their starting year.
Committee meetings are generally held on the fourth Thursday of the month, during school terms. We currently meet during the day at The St George Leagues Club, Kogarah. These meetings are open to all former students, with voting rights limited to Life members. We are always keen to meet new members, and look forward to seeing you there!
For confirmation of meeting dates and venues, social events or membership, please address your enquiry to email@example.com
Join us on Facebook - a great way to keep up with news and find and stay in contact with old school friends. We have formed a "closed group" - simply search Facebook for The St Georgians and choose The St Georgians closed group and ask to join.
SAVE THE DATE! 2018 Annual Reunion Luncheon
Saturday 21 April 2018
Our 2018 Annual Reunion Luncheon will be held on Saturday 21 April at The St George Leagues Club, Kogarah. Further details will be available early in 2018 and all Life members will receive their invitation in the mail. We look forward to a wonderful day filled with memories, chatter and laughter.
Funds raised through raffle ticket and merchandise sales on the day and a portion of all reunion ticket sales directly benefit the school as the money we raise goes towards Speech Day prizes, along with regular donations to the school. Essentially every dollar raised eventually goes into SGGHS's coffers, to be used as needed to improve the experience of the girls of St George.
We are looking forward to next year already!
Annual General Meeting
