About SGGHS
St George Girls High School is an academically selective school which aims to educate students to become independently minded and socially responsible young women of integrity. Each student, through the fostering of individual talents and interests, is encouraged to realise her full potential and to achieve success and fulfilment in a changing world.

The school's hours of business are 8.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms.
Commencement of Term1 2012
School resumes for Years 7, 12, new Year 11 students and Year 11 Peer Support Leaders on Monday 30 January 2012. The remainder of students return on Tuesday 31 January 2012.

Offer of Enrolment
Students who have been offered and accepted placement at St George Girls High School in 2012 should bring their letter of offer from the Selective Schools Unit to St George Girls High School and collect their enrolment package on Friday 27 January.
